They made that into a movie? I thought that graphic novel had too broad a scope to translate properly on film? |

Well they did it, and pretty well I might add. It’s almost shot-for-shot faithful. If there are any flaws, it’s probably in the source material. |

The book ended with some giant squid creating catastrophe. I think the movie’s choice to change that is much more appropriate. I also enjoyed the opening credit sequence. A great way of accomplishing two things at once, showing credits and revealing half a century of history to the audience. It’s been done before, but I like the presentation of it.
