Sherlock Holmes

Guy Ritchie directs this version of the classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle character in which Lord Blackwood uses the veil of dark arts and mysticism to fool London into fearing him in order to take over the world while Holmes and Watson use science and reasoning to thwart Blackwood’s ambitions.
| After careful consideration… and watching Sherlock Holmes, I have decided Spherx’s Domain is no longer in the business of making fun of pop culture and will now, instead, solve mysteries. | |
| What? Why? We don’t have any mysteries to solve. | |
| Actually we do. And it will take every bit of my intellectual prowess and considerable resources to do it. | |
| Which is why I don’t think we should be doing this. | |
Watson!
(in a cockney accent) Roight ‘ere, sir!
| Very good. Fetch me my thinking pipe. | |
| Dammit Spherx, I’m a doctor, not a gofer! | |
| True. Very well then. It seems Patches was recently hanged for his crimes and entombed in the cemetary. Yet, several eyewitnesses claim he has risen from the grave and is at this very moment walking about town. | |
Um, I’m right here.
| Watson, t’was you who inspected the body after the hanging? | |
T’was me indeed sir. He had no pulse. And no money on him… (wink)
| Then how is it that he who hath shook this mortal coil still breathes among us? | |
| I’m a zombie. | |
| He must be the walking undead. | |
Nonsense! There’s a perfectly logical explanation for this. To believe it to be “black arts” is preposterous.
| Some would say a bunch of aliens from another galaxy running a humor website is preposterous. | |
| You guys do know I’m right here, right? Nothing to solve. | |
| Behold! Tis that which perplexes us! | |
| IC brandishes a Derringer. | |
| Shall I put him down with a bullet between the eyes? It’s the only way with which to stop their kind. | |
| Quick before he bests the both of us! | |
| IC fires and misses Patches but the bullet ricochets off a pipe and back into IC’s chest. | |
| SQUEEE! | |
| Oh Lord. The good doctor is dead. | |
| No shit, Sherlock. |
